The problem
Cafler's tech team was 100% web. They had the product defined, the design ready in Figma and the backend built — but no one with mobile app development experience. The decision was straightforward: hire mobile developers, or outsource. With the deadline looming, outsourcing was the only option that made sense.
Solution
We proposed Flutter from the start: a single codebase for iOS and Android, cutting development time in half. We scoped a focused MVP to hit the launch date with a shippable first version, without cutting corners on quality.
We worked remotely, coordinated with their design and backend teams, and visited their offices when the project called for it. Within weeks we went from being an external team to functioning as a natural extension of their product team.
The Liquid team has been the ideal partner to take Cafler's digital product to the next level. They stand out for their speed, ownership and high quality deliverables. Not only are they a great technological collaborator, but they know how to contribute an extra mile to their clients.

Results
We shipped the app on iOS and Android on time. After launch, the collaboration didn't stop: we added new services (refueling, MOT, tyres), integrated push notifications, analytics and order tracking, and established an ongoing working model as an embedded team. Two years after the initial MVP, we were still building together — including a white-label app adapted per client for partners like Verti.
