Moner 1871

Moner is a Barcelona jewelry house with more than 150 years of history. When they decided to move their online store to Shopify, they came with a full custom design from their brand agency — and a physical store ERP that needed to talk to the new platform. We built the entire Shopify store from scratch, implementing a bespoke design and connecting their inventory system in real time.

The problem

Moner needed more than a standard Shopify setup. They had a finished Figma design from their communication agency, Partida Continua, which required precise implementation — not a theme adaptation. On top of that, their physical store runs on a custom ERP (Teinor) that manages stock and pricing, and both systems needed to stay in sync. The product catalog added another layer of complexity: most jewelry pieces are made to order, meaning the store had to handle purchasing flows for items that aren't physically in stock, with differentiated delivery timelines depending on whether adaptation is required.

Solution

We developed the full store on Shopify using a heavily customised theme as a foundation, implementing the Figma designs from Partida Continua across all pages: home, collection grids, product pages, editorial pages (Essència, Història, Assessoria, Glossari), and a custom contact drawer. We architected the product catalog using independent products linked via metafields for color variants, keeping the structure compatible with Teinor's inventory logic. The ERP integration — built in collaboration with Teinor's technical team — syncs prices and stock to Shopify automatically, with a specific approach for rings: only size 14 is held in stock, while all other sizes are available as made-to-order with a 15-day production notice displayed directly on the product page. The store runs in three languages (Spanish, Catalan, and English) and includes a Calendly integration for in-store appointment booking.

Results

Moner launched with a store that matches their brand positioning — a premium, editorially rich experience that reflects the weight of a 150-year-old jewelry house. The ERP integration means the team no longer manages stock manually between systems. The made-to-order logic solved a real operational problem: rings that previously showed as out of stock are now purchasable with clear delivery expectations, removing friction for customers and the team alike. The project has continued with ongoing support, discount logic configuration, and further product management improvements.
